Unicycle basketball tournament, (Saturday, October 8th)
Berkeley is home to one of the most active unicycle basketball groups in the country (see our web site for the weekly meeting place and time). We will be showcasing our skills during the festival's unicycle basketball tournament.
Anyone who can unicycle can play unicycle basketball. Even if you are not a strong unicyclist, you can contribute to your team, and the only skill you really need to play uniBB well is the ability to ride without using your arms for balance. You can practice that by riding with your arms crossed behind your back.
If you are interested in playing in the tournament, contact us to let us know, so we can begin to set up the tournament brackets. We will try to keep the teams reasonably balanced so it will be fun for everyone.
