Distance Unicycle Ride (Berkeley bike routes and waterfront paths, Sunday October 9th)
If MUni and basketball sound like too much work for you, come join us for a leisurely group ride on flat roads and paths along the Berkeley waterfront. We would recommend at least a 24" unicycle, but this is not a race, so feel free to ride whatever you have. There will be a workshop beforehand on distance riding equipment and techniques; if you're lucky, you'll get to try out someone's Coker (36" wheel) or a geared unicycle!
The entire ride is 13km (8 miles), and it will probably take about two hours on a normal 24" unicycle.
